Founded in the Black Forests of Germany back in 1683 as a hammer and nail forge, over the centuries Gaggenau transformed into a standard-bearer for high-quality kitchen appliances. The transition from forging metal to crafting kitchen appliances marked a significant pivot in Gaggenau’s history, particularly noted by the introduction of their coal and gas-fired stoves in the early 1900s. These featured the original iteration of their iconic blue enamel interiors that can still be found in their modern appliances.
